Team
The Board at Ancra Systems consists of the right mix of ambition, experience and passion for engineering and logistics.
Jasper van den Driest - Managing Director
Jasper graduated in International Relations from Groningen University. After working as a strategic consultant at Accenture for a few years, he made the move to Pon Holdings. At Pon, Jasper held a variety of management positions relating to business development and marketing, in the Netherlands and in the USA.
“I didn’t need to think long about the possibility of working at Ancra Systems. The market for loading and unloading systems is growing rapidly, in Europe and far beyond. In addition to this, Ancra Systems is a company with a great deal of know-how, prominent international customers and a well motivated team. Ancra Systems is therefore very well positioned to achieve our ambition – worldwide market leader – in the coming years.”
Jasper (1974) is married and has 2 daughters.
When not changing the nappies, this young father loves to go kite surfing.
Marc Hezemans - Director Operations
Marc graduated from TU Eindhoven in Engineering Business Administration. During his career he has worked for, amongst others, Bosch Rexroth and Windsor EDS as Project leader and Head of Purchasing & Logistics. He also had his own business in the security industry for several years.
“Since I started at Ancra Systems in 1999, Ancra has developed from undertaking small to medium-sized projects, mainly in the Benelux, into an international organisation with proven capabilities for major projects. It’s my responsibility to realize these projects. To achieve this, Ancra Systems has a close team of mechanics, engineers, purchasing & logistics and administration.”
In addition to his busy schedule at Ancra Systems, Marc (1965) spends as much time as possible with his family of three young children and working on the renovation of his house.
Kees van Leeuwen - Sales Manager

Kees studied mechanical engineering at the HTS [Higher Technical College] in The Hague. He started as a buyer at Gist Brocades and at Damen Shipyard. After this, Kees worked as Deputy Director at Deckers Coachworks, where he gained experience in the field of transport and trailers. Kees then specialised in loading and unloading systems, initially as an independent importer and then with Ancra from 1998.
“My business card says Sales Manager but I’m more of a logistics consultant. I like to thoroughly understand a customer’s logistic processes so that I can then come up with the most optimum loading and unloading concepts. More and more companies are realising that their profitability is determined to a large extent by the efficiency of their logistics.”
Kees (1950) is married, has three children and is a real family man. His passion for his profession does not stop after work. In the weekend he enjoys coming up with new solutions on his AutoCAD.
Jos den Teuling - Technical Manager
Jos studied aeronautical engineering at the HTS in Haarlem. As an engineer Jos gained many years of experience at Talson Transport Engineering where, amongst other things, he developed the self-supporting trailer. Since the end of the eighties, Jos has been the head of engineering at Ancra Systems. During this time he has become the authority in the field of loading and unloading engineering.
"I like to visit customers so I can hear about the logistic requirement at first hand. My greatest challenge is to find the most optimum technical solution. I now have an excellent team of experienced electrical and mechanical engineers that support me in this.”
Jos (1953) is married and has a daughter. During leisure he also likes to be busy with everything associated with engineering. Jos is also a keen climber and hang-glider flyer.
