The road to independence and market leadership…

Ancra’s origins go back to the seventies when the company was set up as a subsidiary of the American firm Ancra International LLC to sell products for handling air freight pallets. Load securing devices, such as bungee cords, are an important part of the product range supplied.

From the middle of the eighties, Ancra Systems focused on the production and sale of roller conveyors for air freight pallets. During this period the company took its first steps on the path to loading and unloading systems.
In the nineties the product development, manufacture and sales took off. In addition to the rollertracks for air freight, systems were developed for palletised goods and general cargo. The company also spread its wings internationally.

In 2001 Ancra Systems firmly established its name with the introduction of a revolutionary parcel post unloading system. Spurred on by this success, Ancra Systems broadened its range and marketed solutions for a wide range of uses and industries.

After a few changes in ownership during the nineties, Ancra Systems became an independent company in 2005, with the focus on long-term growth. The result: in 2008 Ancra Systems is the market leader in the field of automatic loading and unloading systems and also supplies systems well beyond Europe.
